Assistant General Manager
A position has fallen vacant in a 156 all suite Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Role
Responsibilities & Duties:
1.Assist General Manager in managing service operation to ensure total satisfaction levels are achieved by HABITAT and working within established budgets.
2.Monitor activities of all subordinates to ensure they are fulfilling their responsibilities efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
3.Assist GM Service in preparation of budgets and in assessing and evaluating adherence to budgets in a real time environment.
4.Review opportunities for additional business to enhance and/or augment the current activities of the Division.
5.Approve (as appropriate) updates of the Service Policies and Procedures Manual as recommended by GSM and ensure that key staff have a current copy.
6. Advise (as appropriate) requests from clients for credit facilities which have been recommended by Group Finance Manager.
7. Prepare and submit relevant reports on a timely basis.
8. Approve (as appropriate) purchase orders according to signing responsibility policies.
9. Report any out of line conditions to immediate manager and recommend action which might be taken to prevent any recurrence.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by GM Service.
Requirements
1.At least ten years of Service Management experience with a large / multinational organization.
2. At least 5 of those years to have been with a similar Hotel organization.
3. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Analytical & decision making skills.
5. Computer literacy.
